The Sun is Out!

What a beautiful day with the sun shining-even though it's soooo cold outside. It was -4 degrees F when I left my house this morning. That sun though just brightens up the day and makes it a little more cheerful! The other day a huge piece of ice/snow fell off the roof and smashed the Sumac outside my window. It scared me out of my seat and I'm hoping it'll come back this spring. It's a Tiger Eye Sumac and always gives off a lot of great color during the growing season!

New Website!

Guess what??? We're getting a new website!!! It'll be great with a soil calculator, great photos, and even a plant database to find out about all kinds of plants! We can't wait!

On the inside...

It snowed...again! I guess we shouldn't be surprised as Minnesota weather does this almost every year to us. We've been busy planting in the greenhouse and getting excited for the warm weather to come, but then another blast of winter hits us. The sun is shining; so it's as though the snow and cold are just a joke that will pass soon. As I write this, I look out the window and see how cold and frigid the greenhouse looks. However, on the inside, it’s quite the contrary! There are a lot of little green plants and plugs which are covering our benches!
