April snowstorms bring May ...?
Contrary to their name, pansies are really tough; not tough enough to be planted in frozen soil and get snowed on though. Fresh out of the greenhouse, pansies will have a tough time with the current and forecasted temps. for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area this week. Everyone that's ready for spring flowers are going to have to settle for a few blooming pots (throw them in the garage overnight) and wait a few more days to plant in the ground. Monday things are looking up for temps. and sunshine; we are due.
