Kids + Dirt = Happiness

 

Each spring we go to a local preschool and plant with the students and their mothers on a Mommy and Me type day.  We were back again this year for the same fun event!  The kids have a blast decorating their pots and then playing in the dirt. 

We talk about the things that kids need to grow up big and strong, and then we talk about the things that plants and flowers need to be able to grow.  Finally we end with learning how to care for our plants so that the students can enjoy them for months to come!
